About Us

Welcoming student to Stonebridge Elementary

A safe, welcoming place to learn

Stonebridge has an atmosphere that is safe, caring, nurturing and responsive to differences in needs, interests and learning styles. Our goal is to encourage the development of children who are happy, compassionate, self-initiating, creative, inquisitive and eager to learn. We provide a foundation for learning experiences by providing opportunities for these qualities to develop. As part of the Stillwater Area Public School District, our school is known for excellence and has a proud tradition of meeting the needs of all kids.

  • Responsive Classroom, where students participate in morning meetings emphasizing social, emotional, and academic growth in a strong and safe school community
  • Enrichment experiences to advance learning and challenge students
  • Special Education: reading and math interventions, English Learner program and summer Targeted Services
  • Service learning and community service projects
  • Preschool for four-year-olds (fee-based; offered through Community Education)

I truly appreciate the support of the community of Stonebridge, not only outside the school but within. Families are so welcoming and supportive of the children and the sense of "family" really shines through in this school. I love the involvement with teachers and parents – wonderful!PARENT COMMENT
